As a Security Guard for the night shift, you will be the trusted guardian of our guests, associates, and property — blending vigilance with genuine hospitality. This role calls for someone who is calm under pressure, professionally confident, and deeply committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment. If you take pride in doing things right, act with integrity, and understand that security is also a form of service, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor hotel premises and respond promptly to security incidents, ensuring the safety of all guests, associates, and property at all times.
  • Prevent unauthorised access to the hotel, identifying and removing anyone deemed a risk or nuisance, while maintaining a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assess and report potential loss situations, safety hazards, thefts, and criminal offences, recording all relevant incidents for the Security Supervisor and Director of Security.
  • Respond immediately to fire and DDA alarms, conduct full investigations, and act in accordance with emergency procedures including terrorism lockdown, bomb threats, and power outages.
  • Assist with the key control system, secure cash movements throughout the hotel, and maintain all security records accurately.
  • Liaise professionally with police, emergency services, and government agencies as required.
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure all fire doors and escape routes remain clear and compliant.
  • Assist in the training of associates on security-related procedures, including Fire Training, Manual Handling, Health & Safety, and Licensing Hours.
  • Record and manage all items of lost property in line with hotel procedures.
About You
  • Connection — You are a true ‘people person’ who understands that security is also about service. You build trust with guests and colleagues naturally, making people feel safe and welcomed from the very first interaction.
  • Guest-Centricity — You bring warmth and professionalism to every encounter, recognising that a Security Guard is often a guest’s first and last point of contact — and that first impressions matter deeply.
  • Influencing — You are a strong, decisive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to de‑escalate difficult situations with confidence and composure, and to lead by example in moments that require clarity and calm.
  • Integrity — You act with the highest standards of discretion, accountability, and professionalism at all times — whether handling sensitive incidents, supporting colleagues, or upholding the hotel’s values when no one is watching.
  • Drive — You bring focus, energy, and a proactive mindset to every shift, anticipating risks before they arise and always looking to raise the standard of safety and service across the property.
  • Adaptability — You thrive in a dynamic, 24/7 environment, working confidently across rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and adjusting swiftly to the evolving needs of a world‑class luxury hotel.
