The Chancery Rosewood, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. With 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand and a collection of distinctive dining, event and entertainment spaces, the hotel offers a refined stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.
We are looking for an Event Operations Floor Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering seamless, high-touch event experiences within one of London’s most anticipated luxury openings. As Event Operations Floor Manager, you will be responsible for the flawless on-the-day execution of meetings, conferences, private dining and special events. Acting as the operational lead on the floor, you will ensure service flows effortlessly, teams are fully aligned, and every guest experience reflects Rosewood’s commitment to relationship-driven luxury. You will work closely with Events, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Stewarding and AV teams to translate event plans into exceptional live experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the operational delivery of events from setup through breakdown
- Act as the primary on-floor contact during events, anticipating needs and resolving issues discreetly
- Brief, deploy and motivate service teams to deliver polished, confident service
- Ensure event spaces are set to brand standards, including layout, lighting and ambience
- Liaise with Event Planning and Sales teams to ensure seamless handovers and execution
- Maintain strong communication with Culinary and Beverage teams during service
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing requirements
- Support training and development of team members within event operations
- Proven experience in event operations or banqueting within a luxury hotel or premium hospitality environment
- Calm, confident and highly organised with a strong on-floor presence
- Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for guest experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and inspire teams
- Comfortable managing high-profile events and VIP clientele
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and varying event schedules
