The Director of Wellness oversees the daily operations of the spa, fitness and Asaya members. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining an innovative, unique and noteworthy wellness offering for hotel guests and members. A natural born leader, you will develop the teams’ knowledge, skills, and service for a destination spa and build, nurture relationships with the team to ensure they provide an engaging, intuitive and refined service to our members and guests.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of wellness operations which include spa, fitness and Asaya membership, ensuring exceptional service delivery and financial performance across all areas.
  • Develop strategic direction of wellness areas, create innovative spa & wellness programs and packages to drive revenue and meet market demands.
  • Play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, implementing marketing initiatives, and fostering relationships with guests, members and third parties.
  • Drive membership acquisition and retention by offering unique and bespoke services, keeping up with latest market trends.
  • Prepare monthly financial and statistical reports, incorporating proposals and recommendations regarding policy and operation at the Spa, taking into account competition, occupancy and usage, market share and achievement of targets.
  • Liaise with the Director of Communications in the preparation and development of marketing plans for the year and co-ordination of all promotional plans and projects for the facility.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests and members, ensuring their needs and preferences are anticipated and met.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and managing the wellness team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

A collaborative and hands on leader, with a passion for your team. Extensive knowledge of local spa market. Proven experience running successful spa and fitness operations with membership components. Preferably you’ll have had exposure of experience of being part of a pre-opening team. Demonstrate Rosewood's core values and truly be able to share and express your passion for your industry.
