The Chancery Rosewood, opening in Summer 2025, is a Rosewood Hotel Group property housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, along with various dining and entertainment spaces that provide a stage for progressive ideas, voices, and expression. We are seeking a talented Demi Chef de Partie to support the senior culinary team by ensuring the smooth operation of our Pastry and Bakery Kitchen. You will take ownership of your section, uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, and promote teamwork and collaboration with kindness and respect. This role is scheduled to start in June 2025. Key responsibilities: Ensure all preparation, cooking, and plating in your section meet the highest standards. Maintain a clean, organized section, adhering to all HACCP standards. Follow recipes and technical sheets accurately, and stay informed about menu allergens and their contents. Take pride and ownership of your section, support your colleagues, and foster a positive, collaborative working environment. Support Rosewood Impacts by promoting sustainable practices and circular hospitality. About you: You understand the fast-paced nature of kitchen operations and can keep things organized and running smoothly. You notice when standards are not met and take appropriate action. You work well with your team, contributing to a positive and productive kitchen atmosphere. You anticipate challenges and find solutions quickly.
