The Chancery Rosewood, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee offering and ensure GSQ continues to deliver one of the finest café experiences in London.

As Head Barista, you will:

  • Lead the coffee program, ensuring every cup is crafted to the highest standard.
  • Train, inspire, and mentor the barista team to deliver consistency and flair.
  • Manage stock, suppliers, and equipment to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the outlet leadership team to develop seasonal menus and beverage innovations.
  • Create memorable moments for guests through warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.

About You

  • Proven experience as a senior barista, ideally in a high-volume or specialty coffee environment.
  • Deep knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and latte art.
  • Leadership skills with a passion for training and developing others.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A creative and guest-focused approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
