Overview

The Chancery Rosewood, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. The hotel includes 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, alongside a collection of distinctive dining and entertainment spaces, providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

GSQ is a lively, contemporary dining and social space designed to flow effortlessly from day into night. As Assistant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in leading daily operations, energising the floor, and creating a confident, welcoming atmosphere where guests feel instantly at ease. You will be a hands-on leader on the floor, helping to deliver seamless service, drive team engagement, and ensure GSQ consistently delivers a vibrant, high-quality guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operation of GSQ
  • Lead the floor during service, ensuring pace, energy, and consistency
  • Build strong guest relationships and encourage repeat business
  • Coach and develop the team through active, visible leadership
  • Assist with rotas, staffing levels, and operational organisation
  • Uphold brand standards, service rituals, and presentation

  • Experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Floor Manager in a quality-led restaurant or bar environment
