We are Systems, LLC, a leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment. We continue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.
This role is within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. A successful candidate is expected to:
- Weld and assemble different pieces using handheld and robotic welding equipment, such as hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures; utilizing various materials (plate steel, sheet steel, structural steel, and tubing).
- Prepare and complete manual and robotic welding work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal.
- Weld and assemble parts using handheld welding equipment and materials like steel and tubing.
- Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning of metals.
- Test and inspect welded components to ensure they meet specifications.
- Work from different specifications and shop orders.
- Use measuring tools such as rulers, squares, templates, and gauges.
- Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables.
- Report machine damages and maintain equipment safety.
- Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
- Monitor and control robotic welding processes, perform programming, and troubleshoot issues.
- Inspect weld quality visually and provide feedback to supervisors or engineering teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- No minimum education required.
- At least 1 year of robotic welding experience.
- Knowledge of MIG welding, plasma cutting, and other methods.
- Preferred: Certification in robotic welding, experience with solid core wires, argon/oxygen gases, and 3-5 years in a robotic welding environment.
