Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Play an active role in curriculum planning and delivery.
- Be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students across Drama.
- Have responsibility for the pastoral care of an identified tutor group.
- Promote the educational success and outstanding outcomes of all our students through strong leadership.
- Implement school policies and procedures as appropriate in day-to-day activities.
- Teach Drama at both KS4 and KS5 and oversee the curriculum.
- Have experience of planning, delivery, and assessment of learning activities for identified groups of students at Key Stage 4 and 5.
- Experience of Edexcel specification is desirable but not essential.
- Be an experienced leader who can manage staff and support colleagues to achieve targets set.
- Ensure student achievement is at least in line with expectations.
- Be accountable for progress and achievement of students.
- Have experience of a large multicultural school.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Have excellent communication skills and enthuse staff and implement ideas.
