A market-leading, UK-based B2B food and subscription services business is seeking a Head of Finance to join its senior leadership team. The company supplies a recurring, operationally critical service to thousands of workplaces across the UK and Northern Europe and has built a strong reputation through consistent service quality, scale and customer retention.

The role
Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, the Head of Finance will take full ownership of the finance function, combining robust financial control with commercial and operational support in a fast-moving, service-led environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of UK management and statutory accounts, including budgeting, forecasting and balance sheet integrity
- Leadership and development of a small, hands-on finance team
- Group consolidation across UK and European entities, including foreign-currency subsidiaries
- Delivery of clear, insightful monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leadership and the Board
- Commercial finance support across cost control, margin analysis, operational efficiency and growth initiatives
About you
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience operating as a Head of Finance or Group Financial Controller within a multi-entity environment
- Strong grounding in group consolidation and international reporting
- Background in FMCG, food, logistics or subscription-based businesses is beneficial
- Hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders
- Able to translate financial data into practical insight for non-finance leaders
