Our CFO Advisory team is urgently looking to hire a fractional CFO to support our technology client 3‑5 days a week. Our client is a rapidly scaling early‑stage technology business at the forefront of transforming the global digital economy. We are looking to appoint a strong and experienced CFO to guide them through a time of immense change, growth and opportunity. The successful candidate will have a mandate to prepare the finance organisation for future global expansion, starting from the critical fundraising stage to global expansion within the next 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Capital Raising: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive capital‑raising strategies to secure multi‑million funding targets. Cultivate and leverage trusted relationships with global investors, including US, Middle East, Europe, and Asia, to secure investments.
- Investor Relations: Maintain and nurture existing investor relationships while actively seeking new strategic partners. Communicate the company's financial performance, strategy, and vision to investors effectively.
- Financial Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to refine and execute the financial strategy aligned with future growth objectives. Provide financial insights and guidance to support decision‑making.
- Financial Governance: Ensure financial compliance with regulatory requirements in multiple global markets. Oversee financial reporting and transparency for investors and stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with our business model and expansion plans. Implement risk management practices to maintain the company's financial stability.
- Strategic Partnerships: Seek out and assess strategic partnerships that can enhance the company's value proposition and accelerate growth.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in raising capital from global investors, with a focus on the US, Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Successful track record of closing deals in these markets.
- Network: Extensive network of trusted relationships with leading investors in the specified regions.
- Financial Expertise: Strong financial acumen, including financial strategy development, governance, and risk management.
- Leadership: Ability to lead a dynamic finance team and contribute to overall company leadership.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset with the ability to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Blockchain and AI: Familiarity with blockchain and AI technologies is a plus but not mandatory.
