This is a genuinely flexible opportunity, with the organisation open to candidates working remotely for much of the time due to the specialist nature of the role.### The OpportunitySalary up to £70,000Up to 10% annual bonus based on personal and company performanceHybrid working with significant remote flexibilityOffice attendance in Cumbria required around 1–2 times per month as a minimumOpportunity to work closely with the Group Treasurer and senior stakeholdersA broad Treasury role with genuine scope to develop your careerExcellent benefits package About the RoleReporting to the Group Treasurer, you will play an important role across Treasury, ALM, liquidity, funding and financial risk.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing and coordinating the monthly ALCO meeting packProducing Treasury and Economic dashboards for senior managementProviding analysis, insight and challenge to support decision-makingPreparing asset and liability forecasts and financial modelsSupporting the development and execution of the hedging strategyOverseeing liquidity stress testing and behavioural modellingMaintaining and enhancing Treasury Financial Risk Management policies and controlsSupporting Treasury Back and Middle Office activitiesProviding Treasury input into the Corporate PlanReviewing ALM strategy against relevant peer organisationsSupporting regulatory reporting, including LCRWorking closely with Finance, Treasury and other senior stakeholders### What We're Looking ForWe are open-minded about background and level of experience for this position.You could be:An experienced Treasury Manager looking for a new challengeAn experienced Treasury or ALM professional ready to step upA Treasury Analyst with the technical ability and confidence to take on more responsibilityA Finance professional with relevant experience looking to move into TreasurySomeone with a strong banking, financial services or professional services background Ideally, you will have:Experience within Treasury, ALM or FinanceStrong financial modelling and Excel skillsStrong analytical ability and attention to detailThe ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate it clearly to senior stakeholdersA relevant accountancy qualification or progress towards one, such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA, or a Treasury qualification such as CertBALM or AMCTSector experience in retail banking, building societies or financial services would be highly desirable.Experience or knowledge of areas such as liquidity, funding, capital management, interest rate risk, stress testing, LCR, ILAAP or PRA regulatory reporting would also be beneficial.
