Our CFO Advisory team is urgently looking to hire a fractional CFO to support our Fintech client, working 3 days a week. Below is a brief outline of the requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee functions involved in purchase, pricing, investments, debt management, and accounts payable and receivable.
- Provide leadership and guidance to all functional teams within their remit.
- Provide strategic and tactical recommendations to the CEOs and executive team on growth, cost optimization, and capability development.
- Assist in building financial forecasts and preparing budgets.
- Oversee the preparation of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reports.
- Assist the executive team with long-term financial and business planning.
- Understand and influence the adoption of automation and intelligent systems for business intelligence, financial management, and growth.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including landowners, community associations, employees, suppliers, customers, regulators, and investors.
- Track cash flow, analyze financial strengths and weaknesses, and propose corrective actions.
- Lead and motivate staff to achieve organizational objectives.
- Mentor and inspire employees to align with and deliver on the company's vision and operational plans.
- Collaborate with the board to establish policies and procedures that promote and improve the company's vision, culture, and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Work closely with the CEO and stakeholders to raise capital and execute business-expanding strategies.
- Own and execute special projects assigned by the CEO or the Board.
Requirements
- Proven experience as CFO or similar leadership role within a fast-paced Fintech environment.
- Commercially astute professional who leads from the front, collaborates well with non-finance teams, and possesses strong knowledge of financial management principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a finance team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder interaction at all levels.
