# Interim Financial ControllerAccounting / Finance,Financial ControllerSeptember 30, 2026Contract### Job Description* Contract* Nottingham* Posted 17 hours ago* Β£400 – Β£450 per day + outside IR35Website**CV-Library**Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a fast growing manufacturing business as they look to recruit a interim financial controller to support the managing director as the business continues its growth journey### Key Responsibilities* Take ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely management accounts.* Lead the preparation and review of monthly management reporting and financial analysis.* Oversee the balance sheet, reconciliations, cash flow and working capital.* Ensure robust financial controls and processes are maintained across the business.* Provide meaningful analysis around costs, margins, production performance and profitability.* Work closely with operational teams to improve financial visibility and performance.* Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.* Improve processes, controls and reporting.* Assist with year-end accounts, audit and statutory reporting.* Provide financial support on operational and business improvement projects.* Act as a key finance partner to the senior leadership team.### About YouQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), although strong qualified-by-experience candidates will also be considered.Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or product-based environment.Strong understanding of management accounts, financial control and month-end reporting.Experience with stock, inventory, standard costing, production costs and gross margin analysis.The ability to quickly understand a business and make an immediate impactIf you would like more information on the this role then please contact Marcus Pratt on (url removed) #J-18808-Ljbffr
