# Financial ControllerAccounting / Finance,Financial ControllerSeptember 30, 2026Permanent### Job Description* Permanent* Kettering* Posted 2 days agoWebsite**CV-Library**Financial ControllerKettering, NorthamptonshireMonday to Friday, 8.00am–5.30pmInteraction Recruitment is working with a well-established organisation in Northamptonshire to recruit an experienced Financial Controller.This is a hands-on senior finance position with responsibility for financial control, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and the day-to-day management of a small finance team.The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, providing accurate financial information and commercial insight to support business decisions and ongoing development.### The RoleKey responsibilities will include:Producing accurate monthly management accounts and KPIsPreparing consolidated financial informationManaging balance sheet controls and monthly reconciliationsManaging cash flow and financial forecastingPreparing annual budgets and forecastsOverseeing VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and other regulatory submissionsManaging banking and treasury activitiesOverseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and intercompany transactionsCoordinating the annual audit processProviding financial reporting and analysis to senior managementManaging, developing and mentoring a small finance teamReviewing and improving financial processes, systems and controlsSupporting senior management with financial analysis and ad-hoc projectsEnsuring financial and regulatory requirements are met accurately and on time### About YouYou will be a qualified accountant with strong technical and commercial accounting experience and previous experience operating at Financial Controller level.Ideally, you will have:ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualificationPrevious Financial Controller experienceExperience working across multiple entities or business areasExperience within construction, contracting or a similar project-led environmentStrong management accounts, budgeting and forecasting experienceExperience with VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and auditPrevious experience managing and developing a finance teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent commercial awarenessStrong communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to senior stakeholdersExcellent Excel skillsExperience using Sage 200A hands-on, organised and proactive approachWhat's on Offer?Competitive salary, dependent on experiencePrivate Medical InsurancePension24 days holiday + 8 statutory daysMonday–Friday, 8.00am–5.30pmSenior-level position with exposure to senior managementVaried and commercially focused roleOpportunity to contribute to process and business improvementsEstablished and stable organisationInterested?If you're an experienced Financial Controller looking for a varied senior finance position within an established Northamptonshire organisation, we'd be keen to hear from you.For more information or to arrange a confidential discussion, please contact Interaction Recruitment.INDKTT #J-18808-Ljbffr
