We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Controller to support one of our CFOs on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in month-end close processes, management and financial reporting, and will be proficient in using Sage 200. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled finance professional to contribute to a dynamic team and ensure the smooth operation of financial activities during a crucial period.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting..
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance analyses to the CFO and senior management..
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts is accurately maintained and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing detailed financial analysis and insights..
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Work collaboratively with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by the CFO to support the business\’s financial objectives..
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Controller or similar role, with a strong focus on month-end close and financial reporting
