Working closely with the Finance Director, the Interim Finance Manager will take ownership of critical finance processes, support the handover from departing team members and ensure a structured transfer of knowledge to incoming permanent hires.The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:Taking control of the day-to-day finance function and ensuring critical processes and deadlines are maintained throughout the transitionWorking alongside outgoing team members to capture knowledge of key finance processes, responsibilities and deadlinesManaging the handover of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT, audit, banking, payroll and cash flowDocumenting key finance processes, controls, reporting requirements and recurring tasks to support a smooth transitionTaking ownership of complex billing issues, investigating discrepancies and resolving system and data issuesProducing monthly reporting and supporting the month-end close, including journals, reconciliations and general accountingThe ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:Qualified accountant, ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or qualified by equivalent experiencePrevious experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or a strong Senior Management AccountantProven experience of managing or supervising a finance teamStrong technical finance experience, including month-end, management accounts and balance sheet reconciliationsExcellent Excel skills and experience working with finance systemsStrong communication skills, with the ability to train and support colleagues through a period of changeThis is a six-month interim assignment, with an immediate requirement for someone who can start within the next 1–2 weeks.If you feel you have the required skills and experience for this role, please apply ASAP.IND1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
