You will be leading the technical delivery and financial control of the financial function, ensuring all is running smoothly. The role provides senior financial oversight, supports organisational decision making and ensures the integrity of financial information. Your key responsibilities will be:Lead month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Control and oversight on finance policies and processes.Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, accruals and journals.Produce and review financial reports for senior leadership team.Supporting with the budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling activity.Manage VAT, pensions, fixed assets and statutory financial processes.Maintain financial policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.Working closely with the FD on financial planning and risk.Reporting to internal & external stakeholders as required.The successful Interim Financial Controller will have:Previous experience in a similar positionBe immediately available to startStrong technical accounting skillsExperience with Microsoft dynamics/business central would be beneficialFully qualified or QBE candidates will be consideredAbility to communicate at all levelsHowett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
