Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain senior relationships across your regional business community.
  • Identify organisations facing finance leadership, growth, transformation, transaction, talent or compliance challenges.
  • Originate qualified opportunities for The CFO HQ's advisory, fractional CFO, finance transformation, deals, managed services and talent solutions.
  • Introduce prospective clients and strategic partners to the appropriate members of The CFO HQ team.
  • Represent The CFO HQ professionally at relevant business, investment and professional-networking events.
  • Build relationships with accountants, lawyers, banks, investors, private equity firms, corporate-finance advisers and other referral partners.
  • Provide informed regional market intelligence and identify emerging commercial opportunities.
  • Support introductory discussions, propositions and relationship development where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of introductions, opportunities and agreed next steps.
  • Operate in accordance with The CFO HQ's ethical, confidentiality, data-protection and professional standards.

  • Banker, investor, intermediary or professional-networking specialist;
  • Portfolio executive, consultant, non-executive director or entrepreneur;
  • Well-connected regional business leader with trusted senior relationships.

What we are looking for

  • A strong and credible network of senior business relationships within your region or specialist market.
  • The confidence to engage business owners, boards, C-suite executives and professional advisers.
  • A consultative, relationship-led approach to originating opportunities.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to recognise genuine client needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
  • High standards of integrity, discretion and professionalism.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider specialist team.
  • An established understanding of regional business dynamics and professional networks.
  • Relevant finance, advisory, investment, legal, banking or commercial experience is advantageous.

  • Support from experienced finance leaders and specialist advisers.
  • A recognised platform through which to develop valuable regional and national relationships.
  • Professional marketing, proposition and business-development materials.
  • Flexible participation that can complement an existing portfolio career or advisory practice.
  • Commercial rewards linked to successful introductions and agreed outcomes.
  • The opportunity to contribute to the growth of a distinctive finance leadership and advisory business.
