What’s the opportunity?

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer / Finance Director who wants a different career path. The role will provide CFO services to private businesses valued between £2-50M, supporting owners to climb their Everest.

Responsibilities

  • Provide CFO services to ambitious private businesses.
  • Support business owners, entrepreneurs, CEOs, and MDs with commercial finance, business strategy, and financial planning.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Serve as part CFO, part advisor, part strategist, part friend, building genuine long‑lasting relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Director and team of CFO/FDs.

Requirements

  • Qualified from one of the UK’s major chartered accounting institutes.
  • Experienced real‑life CFO/FD (one or more times).
  • Strong experience and understanding of commercial finance and business strategy.
  • Track record of success and ability to build relationships.
  • Self‑starter, energetic, and a ‘can do’ attitude.

Working arrangement

The role is self‑employed within a defined model, offering autonomy and freedom while being part of a team supported by an established organisation.
