Your Focus:

In this role as an Investment Banking Analyst, you will be directly involved in advising clients on significant financial transactions, ranging from mergers and acquisitions to raising capital in the debt and equity markets. Partnering with senior team members, you will help evaluate strategic options, shape deal structures, and deliver insights that influence key corporate decisions. The position is hands-on and fast-moving, with a strong emphasis on execution. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building detailed financial models, analysing company and market data, and producing high-quality presentations for clients. You will also support transaction processes end-to-end, contribute to due diligence efforts, and ensure all work meets strict regulatory and compliance standards.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical ability with sound commercial judgement and a proactive mindset. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and maintain precision in every aspect of your work. Clear communication, accountability, and a collaborative approach are essential as you contribute to delivering complex, high-value deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of a wide range of investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and strategic advisory engagements.
  • Develop and refine financial models and analytical frameworks to assess opportunities and support decision-making.
  • Create high-quality client materials such as presentations, information memoranda, and supporting deal documentation.
  • Perform in-depth research on companies, industries, and market trends to inform both origination and execution efforts.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to manage transaction processes, track progress, and ensure key milestones are met.

  • Support business development initiatives through targeted research and the preparation of tailored marketing content.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks within transactions while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Uphold strong attention to detail, organisation, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Work collaboratively across multiple functions, including banking, markets, legal, risk, and compliance, to deliver successful outcomes.

This role centres on contributing to the delivery of complex investment banking transactions while enabling clients to navigate strategic and financing decisions with confidence. You are able to quickly interpret and synthesise detailed financial and commercial information, applying strong analytical thinking to assess businesses, transactions, and broader market dynamics. You bring a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving and are capable of forming clear, evidence-based perspectives. Comfortable operating in high-pressure environments, you adapt effectively as deal timelines shift and demands intensify.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline. We accept also individuals from any degree, especially those numerate based.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear client-ready materials.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Sound judgement and a strong understanding of risk, compliance, and regulatory expectations.
