We are looking to recruit a Clinical Pharmacist to join our friendly and helpful team at The Central Surgery. We are looking for an independent prescriber with experience working in General Practice. Understanding of QOF indicators and experience in long‑term condition management of diabetes would also be desirable.
Typical day in surgery:
- Same‑day medication queries
- Reviewing acute prescription requests
- Medicines reconciliation of discharge and clinic letters
- LTC and medication reviews
The Central Surgery cares for around 7,500 patients in the Oadby and Wigston area. We are active members of the Oadby and Wigston PCN and are rated as Good by the CQC. Our current clinical team includes GPs, Minor Illness ANPs, an ANP specialising in care home and frailty patients, practice pharmacists and a full nursing team, as well as extended PCN‑based roles. We are also an active teaching, research and training practice.
