The Center for Discovery (TCFD) is a nationally recognized research leader, and state-recognized Center of Excellence, in the field of Autism. Our research is implemented daily in our dynamic school program. Our school program serves students with Multiple Disabilities and Autism from over 90 districts throughout NY State.

The students who attend our school have complex needs and we are seeking energetic and creative teachers to help them achieve their full potential. Our school offers teachers opportunities to bring their instruction outdoors, participate in daily exercise and movement programs, and to utilize their creativity and unique ideas to expand our curriculum and teaching practices. Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree with initial certification in related fields from an accredited college or university minimum.
  • New York State Education Department teacher certification in Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6, 5-9, or 7-12) Required.
