OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE:

  • Previous experience in a guest service, reservations, sales or customer-focused role
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional and confident telephone manner
  • Strong IT skills and experience using computer booking systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
  • The ability to build rapport quickly and identify opportunities to enhance guest stays through upselling
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a busy team
  • Experience using Opera, Concept or similar hotel management systems would be advantageous

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES, WE CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL:

  • Deliver a genuine, warm and friendly welcome to every guest, creating a personalised experience at every opportunity
  • Handle room, restaurant and spa reservations, ensuring all bookings are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Respond to guest enquiries by telephone, email and online channels, delivering excellent service at all times
  • Promote hotel facilities, spa experiences, dining options and special offers to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Ensure all bookings, guest profiles, deposits and payments are accurately recorded and maintained
  • Liaise closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest requirements and special requests are fulfilled
  • Highlight VIP guests and ensure appropriate arrangements are in place prior to arrival
  • Support the achievement of departmental revenue targets and service excellence objectives
