We’re looking for a Senior Sous Chef to help lead a dynamic, high-performing brigade in a unique large-scale events environment. This is not your typical restaurant role – it’s about precision, pace and producing exceptional food at scale, often delivering for hundreds or thousands of guests at once.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Head Chef in leading kitchen operations for major conferences, banquets and events
- Delivering high-volume, high-quality food production with consistency and attention to detail
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of chefs within a fast-paced events kitchen
- Working closely with the events and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Planning and executing menus designed for large-scale production without compromising quality
- Managing stock, ordering and kitchen controls while maintaining excellent food margins
- Ensuring full compliance with food safety, HACCP and health & safety standards
- Driving efficiency and minimising waste in a sustainability-focused environment
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen or banqueting/events environment
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- Solid understanding of menu planning, food costing and large-scale production
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- A calm, organised approach under pressure with excellent attention to detail
- Passion for delivering high-quality food in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
