Based at one of the UK's leading conference and event destinations, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service at conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, concerts, sporting events and large-scale celebrations.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll lead from the front, support your team through busy services and help ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, five-star experience.

This is a role for someone who enjoys busy shifts, leading teams and being at the heart of exciting events that create lasting memories for our guests.

You'll be joining a passionate team in a venue renowned for delivering some of Wales' biggest and most prestigious events.

  • OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE –
  • Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor within a busy bar, hospitality or events environment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume operation where guest service is always the priority
  • Banqueting or large-scale event experience would be advantageous
  • A positive, hands-on leadership style
  • The ability to motivate, coach and support colleagues to perform at their best
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A flexible approach and willingness to support the wider operation when required
  • Good IT literacy
  • IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES, WE CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL –
  • Support the Manager and Supervisors in leading the Events Bar team
  • Lead by example and inspire colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Help coordinate and deliver efficient service across multiple event bars
  • Motivate and coach team members during busy service periods
  • Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly and professional service at all times
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly and positively to requests
  • Ensure bar and service areas are fully stocked, organised and presentation-ready
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and service throughout each event
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Conference & Events to ensure the smooth delivery of every occasion
  • Play a key role in creating memorable experiences for thousands of guests each year
