We are looking for an experienced and passionate Floor Manager to join our Conference & Events team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of events whilst leading and inspiring a dedicated team committed to excellence.

About the Role
As Floor Manager, you will support the Conference & Events Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the department, ensuring all meetings, conferences, banquets and events are delivered seamlessly and to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for coordinating event set-up and service, conducting team briefings, monitoring service standards and ensuring all function rooms and event spaces are prepared flawlessly. Acting as a key point of contact for event organisers and guests, you will ensure every event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.
This hands-on leadership role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage people, processes and priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of Conference & Events set-up and service.
Ensure all event spaces are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
Review function sheets, event requirements and room set-ups to ensure successful delivery of all events.
Conduct pre-event briefings and communicate operational requirements effectively to the team.
Meet with event organisers and hosts to confirm requirements and ensure expectations are exceeded.
Monitor service delivery and team performance throughout events, ensuring all procedures and standards are consistently followed.
Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and efficiently to achieve positive outcomes.
Ensure equipment, supplies and resources are properly maintained, safely used and readily available.
Work closely with other hotel departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Support recruitment, training, coaching and development initiatives within the team.
Complete departmental administration, including timesheets, handovers and operational reporting.
Promote a positive working environment focused on teamwork, engagement and continuous improvement.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, fire and food service procedures.
About You
You'll be an experienced hospitality professional with a background in Conference & Events, Banqueting or Hotel Operations.
You will be a confident leader who enjoys motivating teams, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences. With excellent organisational and communication skills, you'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities whilst maintaining the highest operational standards.
You'll also have:
Previous supervisory or management experience within Conference & Events or Banqueting operations.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Experience working in a busy, guest-focused hospitality environment.
The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
