Our Golf & Retail team at the iconic Celtic Manor Resort is looking for a motivated Golf & Retail Stock Controller to help keep our world-class retail operation running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For…

  • Enthusiastic, detail-driven individual who can confidently manage stock processes across multiple outlets.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Experienced in retail stock control or a similar environment.
  • A confident communicator and strong team player.
  • Skilled in managing supplier relationships and stock systems.
  • Capable of working to deadlines and staying calm under pressure.
  • IT-literate, particularly with Microsoft applications.

What You’ll Do…

  • Take ownership of stock accuracy, stock movement, and stock presentation across our large retail operation.
  • Maintain optimal retail and golf amenity stock levels.
  • Coordinate deliveries, stock transfers, and stock organisation.
  • Manage and review stocktakes, discrepancies, and inventory reports.
  • Maintain the retail buying plan (Open to Buy).
  • Monitor ageing and excess stock, proposing solutions.
  • Create and manage spreadsheets for analysis and reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Manage stock invoices, delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Support retail supervisors and occasionally cover rota shifts.
  • Ensure all equipment and stock areas meet health & safety standards.
  • Contribute to new ideas, sale planning, and store improvements.
  • Handle internal/external customer queries and support complaint resolution.
  • Protect resources by minimising waste and promoting efficiency.
