As Golf & Retail Stock Controller, you'll take ownership of stock accuracy, stock movement, and stock presentation across our large retail operation. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining optimal retail and golf amenity stock levels
- Coordinating deliveries, stock transfers, and stock organization
- Managing and reviewing stocktakes, discrepancies, and inventory reports
- Maintaining the retail buying plan (Open to Buy)
- Monitoring ageing and excess stock, proposing solutions
- Creating and managing spreadsheets for analysis and reporting
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
- Managing stock invoices, delivery notes and purchase orders
- Supporting retail supervisors and occasionally covering rota shifts
- Ensuring all equipment and stock areas meet health & safety standards
- Contributing to new ideas, sale planning, and store improvements
- Handling internal/external customer queries and supporting complaint resolution
- Protecting resources by minimizing waste and promoting efficiency
