Overlooking the beautiful Roman Road golf course, The Grill is one of the Resort's most popular dining destinations. Renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and extensive menu, The Grill serves everything from premium Welsh steaks and grilled specialities to fresh fish, seafood, burgers, salads and seasonal favourites. Working within this busy and dynamic kitchen, you'll help deliver exceptional dishes and memorable dining experiences for guests throughout the day.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious chef looking to develop their skills within one of Wales' leading hospitality destinations, working alongside a talented culinary team committed to quality, creativity and excellent guest service.
Our Ideal Hero Will Have
NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent qualification
A minimum of 1 year's experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel, high-volume restaurant, or similar quality dining environment, or at least 2 years' experience as a Commis Chef
Food Hygiene Level 2 certification
A passion for fresh ingredients and delivering consistently high culinary standards
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Implementing Our 'Yes, We Can' Philosophy, You Will
Prepare and present dishes to department standards, ensuring quality and consistency at all times
Support the delivery of a varied menu featuring grilled meats, seafood, classic favourites and seasonal specials
Assist with the day-to-day running of your section, maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workspace
Ensure all deliveries are checked, stored correctly and rotated appropriately
Work closely with the wider kitchen team to maintain exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction
Use resources effectively, minimising waste and supporting our sustainability goals
Adhere to all food safety and health & safety procedures
