As a Casual Spa Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of one of Cardiff's most luxurious wellness destinations. From greeting guests with a warm smile to ensuring every visit runs seamlessly, you'll play an important role in creating exceptional experiences that leave guests feeling relaxed, valued and eager to return.
Whether welcoming guests for a spa day, assisting with bookings, or providing information about our facilities and treatments, you'll be passionate about delivering outstanding service and embodying our "Yes, We Can" philosophy at every opportunity.
Our ideal hero will have
- Previous reception, administration or customer service experience, ideally within hospitality, leisure, spa or hotel environments
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and Outlook
- A professional, friendly and welcoming manner
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
Implementing our "Yes, We Can" philosophy, you will
- Welcome guests to the Spa and provide a warm, professional first impression
- Manage appointments, bookings and guest enquiries efficiently
- Maintain a full and up-to-date knowledge of Spa facilities, treatments, services and promotions
- Assist guests with information about The Parkgate Hotel and wider Celtic Collection facilities
- Handle guest feedback professionally, escalating concerns to the Spa Manager when appropriate
- Support the Spa team with administrative duties, reporting and record management
- Assist with retail sales, stock monitoring and maintaining attractive product displays
- Ensure all guest information is recorded accurately and confidentially
- Help maintain the smooth day-to-day operation of the Spa Reception area
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the guest journey
