Our Ideal Hero Will Have
Proven experience in a Conference & Events, Banqueting or Food & Beverage management role within a high-volume, quality-focused hospitality environment
Outstanding leadership, coaching and people management skills with a passion for developing teams
Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, payroll, forecasting and cost control
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across departments
A hands-on management style with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence
Level 3 Food Safety qualification (or equivalent) and a sound understanding of licensing, health & safety and compliance requirements

Implementing Our "Yes, We Can" Philosophy, You Will
Lead and inspire the Conference & Events team to deliver outstanding service for conferences, banquets, weddings and special events
Oversee the planning, set-up, delivery and breakdown of functions, ensuring every event exceeds guest expectations
Manage departmental performance, budgets, payroll and operational efficiencies to achieve financial targets
Recruit, train, coach and develop team members, creating a positive and engaging working environment
Monitor guest feedback, resolve concerns professionally and continuously improve the guest experience
Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider hotel teams to drive service standards, innovation and business success
Ensure compliance with all health & safety, food safety and licensing regulations
Maintain a visible presence across all Conference & Events areas, leading by example and supporting the team operationally when required
