HOURS – Full Time, 37.5 hours
LOCATION – The Celtic Manor Resort, Newport

As a Rooms Allocation Coordinator, you will play a pivotalrole in creating exceptional guest experiences before our guests even arrive.Combining reception expertise with meticulous planning and organisation, you'llcoordinate room allocations, manage guest preferences, prepare VIP arrivals,validate reservations and payment arrangements, and work closely withdepartments across the resort to ensure every stay begins seamlessly.

OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE –

  • Previousexperience in a guest-facing or customer service role
  • Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strongorganisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Confidenceusing Microsoft Office and computerised systems
  • Theability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment
  • Hospitalityexperience within a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment (desirable)
  • Knowledgeof Opera, Delphi, Concept or Micros systems (desirable)

  • Reviewdaily arrivals and allocate guestrooms based on guest preferences, specialrequests, VIP status and operational requirements
  • Coordinateseamless pre-arrival preparations including celebration packages,amenities, upgrades and personalised guest experiences
  • Liaisewith Housekeeping, Reservations, Guest Services and Duty Managers toensure room readiness and guest satisfaction
  • Validatereservation details, payment arrangements and billing instructions beforeguest arrival
  • Maintainaccurate guest profiles, guest history records and reservation informationto support exceptional personalised service
  • Proactivelyidentify opportunities to enhance the guest journey from pre-arrivalthrough to departure
