This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced health and safety professional who is passionate about developing people through engaging training and education. Working within our Health, Safety and Compliance team, you will play a key role in delivering training programmes, supporting compliance initiatives and promoting a culture where safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.

Our ideal hero will have

  • Atleast three years' recent and relevant experience within a Health & Safety role
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice
  • Experienced delivering training or coaching individuals and teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work independently, use initiative and adapt to changing priorities
  • A recognised training qualification, such as EAT Level 3, would be advantageous
  • Experience within hospitality, leisure or tourism would be beneficial

Implementing our "Yes, We Can" philosophy, you will

  • Develop and deliver engaging, interactive and compliant health and safety training programmes across the business
  • Ensure all training materials remain up to date with current legislation and industry best practice
  • Monitor training completion, compliance metrics and learning outcomes, providing reports and recommendations where required
  • Support risk assessments, audits and inspections by identifying training needs and opportunities for improvement
  • Deliver emergency response, fire safety, accident prevention and wellbeing training
  • Create and update training presentations, handbooks and learning resources
  • Lead and coordinate safety and wellbeing committees across the Collection
  • Promote a positive culture of safety awareness and employee wellbeing
  • Work closely with operational managers, HR and external partners to support business objectives and compliance requirements
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of health and safety policies, procedures and documentation
