OVERVIEW -
Join the 'Greatest Story in Hospitality' by becoming one of our Greenkeepers withinour Estates team based at the Celtic Manor Resort - just one of the fantasticopportunities we offer from 'Manor to Marina'. Workingacross our championship golf courses, you will help ensure that all playingsurfaces and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest possiblestandard. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and motivatedGreenkeeper to develop their skills within a world-class golf destination.
OUR IDEALHERO WILL HAVE -
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Greenkeeping (or equivalent)
- Previous greenkeeping or golf course maintenance experience
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Spraying and chainsaw certificates are desirable but not essential
- A commitment to high standards of course presentation and safety
- Must be aged 18 or over due to the operation of machinery and exposure to chemicals
IMPLEMENTING OUR 'YES, WE CAN' PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL -
- Maintain greens, tees, bunkers, approaches and rough areas to exceptional standards
- Operate and maintain specialist grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Assist in the delivery of golf course maintenance and development programmes
- Support the operational needs of the golf team and Estates Department
- Ensure all equipment, stock and working areas are maintained, clean and compliant with safety standards
- Attend team briefings, contribute to departmental objectives and report any faults, hazards or customer concerns promptly
