What You’ll Do…
As Golf & Retail Stock Controller, you’ll take ownership of stock accuracy, stock movement, and stock presentation across our large retail operation. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining optimal retail and golf amenity stock levels.
- Coordinating deliveries, stock transfers, and stock organisation.
- Managing and reviewing stocktakes, discrepancies, and inventory reports.
- Maintaining the retail buying plan (Open to Buy).
- Monitoring ageing and excess stock, proposing solutions.
- Creating and managing spreadsheets for analysis and reporting.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Managing stock invoices, delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Supporting retail supervisors and occasionally covering rota shifts.
- Ensuring all equipment and stock areas meet health & safety standards.
- Contributing to new ideas, sale planning, and store improvements.
- Handling internal/external customer queries and supporting complaint resolution.
- Protecting resources by minimising waste and promoting efficiency.
