What You’ll Do…

As Golf & Retail Stock Controller, you’ll take ownership of stock accuracy, stock movement, and stock presentation across our large retail operation. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining optimal retail and golf amenity stock levels.
  • Coordinating deliveries, stock transfers, and stock organisation.
  • Managing and reviewing stocktakes, discrepancies, and inventory reports.
  • Maintaining the retail buying plan (Open to Buy).
  • Monitoring ageing and excess stock, proposing solutions.
  • Creating and managing spreadsheets for analysis and reporting.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Managing stock invoices, delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Supporting retail supervisors and occasionally covering rota shifts.
  • Ensuring all equipment and stock areas meet health & safety standards.
  • Contributing to new ideas, sale planning, and store improvements.
  • Handling internal/external customer queries and supporting complaint resolution.
  • Protecting resources by minimising waste and promoting efficiency.
