We’re looking for an Event Maintenance Electrician to join our expert Maintenance team and help power the moments that matter. If you’re technically strong, safety-focused and thrive in a fast-paced live events environment, this is your chance to be at the centre of something extraordinary.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Installing, maintaining and dismantling temporary electrical systems for events
- Ensuring full compliance with BS 7909 and BS 7671 regulations
- Conducting verification, inspection, testing and certification
- Managing temporary power distribution, cabling and load assessments
- Fault finding during live events
- Completing all required electrical certificates (EIC, Minor Works, BS 7909)
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance on permanent ICC Wales installations
- Working flexibly, including evenings, weekends and event days
- Carrying out Emergency Lighting testing
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Regulations
- Minimum 3 years’ electrical installation experience
- Strong inspection, testing and fault-finding skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work at height with IPAF equipment and handle loads up to 20kg
Desirable:
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
- BS 7909 Temporary Electrical Installations
- IPAF and PASMA
- Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel skills
