DEPARTMENT – Estates

CONTRACT TYPE – Permanent

RATE OF PAY – £13.13 per hour

HOURS – 45 hours per week, over 5 days

LOCATION – Newport, NP18 1HQ

OVERVIEW

Join the ‘Greatest Story in Hospitality’ by becoming one of our Workshop Team Member ‘Hospitality Heroes’ in our Estates team based at our Celtic Manor Resort – just one of the fantastic opportunities we offer from ‘Manor to Marina’.

OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE

  • A qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Horticultural or Land-Based Engineering
  • Hot work certificate, such as welding equipment
  • Previous experience of a workshop environment (Agricultural, Horticultural or Motor Trade)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • A clean driving licence

IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES, WE CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL

  • Assist in implementation of maintenance and service of Estates and non-Estates equipment
  • Be required to safely utilise such equipment as power tools (hydraulic, compressed air and electric), lifting and grinding equipment
  • Be responsible for all stock and the care and control of all professional equipment within your working environment
  • Be required to attend call outs and breakdowns within the Celtic Manor Resort
  • Be aware of and understand the requirements of the operational golf team and react accordingly
