DEPARTMENT – Leisure– Spa & Golf
CONTRACT TYPE – Casual
RATE OF PAY – £8.00 – £12.71 per hour depending on age
HOURS – As and when required to include weekends and evenings
LOCATION – Newport
Qualifications- Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ or equivalent) – essential
- Previous experience in a leisure, pool, or customer‑facing role
- A friendly, approachable nature with excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude
- A proactive approach to safety, cleanliness and guest care
- Provide swimming pool cover and lifeguarding duties as required
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all guests within leisure areas
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all leisure facilities, including pool, reception and changing areas
- Support reception duties when required
- Assist with the opening and closing of the leisure facilities
- Take responsibility for equipment, materials and facilities used within the department
- Ensure all lost property is logged and handed to the appropriate department
- Deliver a friendly, professional and welcoming service at all times
