OVERVIEW
Join the ‘Greatest Story in Hospitality’ by becoming one of our ‘Hospitality Heroes’ as a Casual Events Bartender within our busy Conference & Events team at the Celtic Manor Resort.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of some of the UK's largest conferences, banquets, Christmas parties and special events. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will help deliver exceptional service to our guests during our busiest period of the year.

OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE
- A positive, friendly and enthusiastic approach to guest service.
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy, high-volume bar environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and throughout the festive period.
- Experience within hospitality, events, bars or customer service is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to help create memorable guest experiences.
- Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to the nature of the role and licensing requirements.
IMPLEMENTING OUR ‘YES, WE CAN’ PHILOSOPHY, YOU WILL
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and professionally during conferences, events and Christmas party nights.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and respond positively to requests.
- Process orders accurately and maintain speed of service during busy periods.
- Assist with bar setup, replenishment and close-down procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of events.
- Help create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.
RECRUITMENT INFO
Interviews will take place throughout August, with successful candidates commencing employment in September in preparation for our busy Christmas events season.
