The Service
Cedar’s Employability Services support disabled people to work and learn. They offer personalised support at different stages in the employment journey, ranging from transitions and skills development to finding and sustaining employment. Their impact is to close the disability employment gap through personalised support to build skills, find a job and do well in work.
The Role
The Head of Employability will provide strategic leadership for Employment, Skills and Inclusion Services, ensuring the organisation delivers high-quality, innovative and sustainable services that enable disabled people to prepare for, secure, retain and progress in employment. The postholder will lead the development and implementation of the organisation's Employability Strategy, driving service innovation, business growth and continuous improvement to ensure services remain person-centred, outcome-focused and financially sustainable. Working collaboratively with commissioners, employers, funders, government agencies and strategic partners, the role will influence policy, secure new opportunities and position the organisation as a leading provider of disability employment services.
