The CDR Collective is partnered exclusively with a successful, family-run property services business to recruit for an experienced Claims Manager to join the new Head Office facility in Ashford. The business delivers property reinstatement and contents repair or replace services to insurers and loss adjusters across Southern England. The new Ashford facility is an important part of its next stage of growth, and this Claims Manager position will play a key part in its day-to-day operation. With around 75 live property damage claims at any one time, this is a hands-on position where you'll coordinate claims, people and information from initial instruction through to completion. You'll also work closely with the business owners, combining claims management with PA and Head Office responsibilities. What you'll take ownership of as the Claims Manager Claims management. ·Acknowledge new claims promptly, establish what is required and arrange for the relevant technician to deal with the specific issue. ·Keep insurers, loss adjusters, clients, contractors and site teams informed as claims progress. ·Chase outstanding instructions, approvals and information, monitoring progress and escalating anything requiring attention. ·Manage and check claims data, maintaining accurate files and documentation. ·Prepare scopes of work, claim summaries and invoices.
