We are looking for a Full Time Nightshift driver to join our team!
Role Overview
The Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of goods between company sites and designated delivery points. The role is non-customer facing and requires a strong focus on compliance, vehicle care, and internal communication.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for packing all wholesale and shop bread orders
- Ensure the bread trays you are using are clean
- Ensure that the correct processes are followed at all times – (shop and customers delivery notes)
- Delivering to Wholesale Customers and all Cavan Bakery Shops in allocated time.
- Make sure you collect empty trays from our shops and wholesale customers
QUALITY
Ensure the quality of all products is never compromised. Pack in an organised manner so not to compromise the appearance of the baked products.
ADMIN AND PROCEDURES
- Ensure that your time book is filled out correctly at the end of each day’s shift initialled by the bread Bakery Supervisor at the end of each week before they are submitted to the office.
- Ensure all areas of reducing costs are employed i.e. lights, electricity, ovens etc.
- Ensure all money collected is handed to the Office
HYGIENE
- You are responsible for ensuring your van is clean, tidy and hygienic at all times.
- You are responsible for ensuring the van is kept in good working order, weekly checks must be done with regards to:- the oil and water level, topping up washers, tyre pressures.
- You must report any accidents etc. to the Office straight away.
- Ensure your van is emptied of all bread and cake trays at the end of every shift.
- Ensure your van is filled up with Diesel at the end of every shift – Diesel requests (forms found in your handbook) must be filled in and given to the office.

You are expected to behave in a responsible; conscientious; committed; co-operative; enthusiastic; cheerful; helpful; professional and proactive.
