We have a variety of start times spread across the week.
Experience isn’t essential as full training can be given but a positive attitude and enthusiasm is a must!

Responsibilities
- Produce the bread in the correct quantities and of the correct type to our shops in accordance with the daily production sheet.
- Mix, shape, bake.
- Ensure that the correct processes are followed when producing products.
- Communicate with the Bakery Operations Manager if any problems exist or are anticipated with the production process.
- Ensure the quality of all products is never compromised.
- Products should be consistent in their overall appearance, colour, size, finish, weight and taste.
- Any products that are below quality should not leave the bakery unless with the agreement of the Bakery Operations Manager.
- Ensure that ingredients are not wasted, and the correct amounts are used for each yield.
- Ensure that ingredients are kept fresh and in hygienic conditions.
- Ensure that ingredients are used in correct rotation.
- Ensure bakery areas are clean, tidy and hygienic.
- Ensure all machinery is kept clean and in good working order reporting any urgent repairs to the bakery manager.
- Ensure that all the cleaning jobs are done regularly as directed by your bakery manager.
- Communicate any areas of difficulty, problems or suggestions to the Bakery Operations Manager, as you think appropriate.
- You are expected to behave in a responsible, conscientious, committed, co-operative, enthusiastic, cheerful, helpful, professional and proactive way.
- Always think ‘how could we do this better?’ for example, efficiency, recipes, ordering, procedures, team working, morale.
- Take pride in the products you make and the goods that leave your bakery.
