We have a brand new role within The Caterfood Buying Group People team. As an HR Business Partner you would be part of the larger People & Sustainability team which plays an integral part in supporting a number of divisions within Bidcorp UK. This role will support the Caterfood Buying Group, which is a collection of independent foodservice suppliers working together to offer both extensive product range, industry knowledge and geographical coverage.
Please note: this role is remote and involves regular mandatory travel to Paignton (Devon), Totton (Southampton), Newhaven (East Sussex). This will include overnight stays. Travel could be 2-3 times per month or 2-3 times per week so flexibility will be essential.
Role EssentialsAs a key member of the Caterfood Buying Group People Operations team you will work with Managing Directors and the Caterfood Buying Group Leadership teams to deliver commercially viable HR solutions to develop capability and drive performance. You will also lead and deliver people plan for your area in collaboration with your Managing Directors, giving insight led solution(s) to ensure fit for now and into the future. In addition to leading and supporting key business change by promoting behaviours that will drive success across Caterfood Buying Group, you will also support and deliver talent management initiatives with business leaders ensuring stakeholders are fully engaged. You will also work collaboratively with the wider HR team (e.g. L&D, People Services and Payroll) including agreeing any priorities to meet customer requirements and deliver and embed tools/processes.
Who We’re Looking ForTo be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate a commercial focus as well as an excellent understanding of UK employment law and demonstrable experience of its commercial and pragmatic application. You will also need:
- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner
- Experience supporting multiple sites, preferably geographically dispersed, (but not essential).
- CIPD qualified
- Full UK full driving license
- Significant true HR Business partnering and relationship building experience across the whole employee life cycle in a high paced, high delivery, multi-site diverse environment is essential
- The ability to work under pressure, plan, coordinate and prioritise activities and have self-discipline and motivation and have excellent communication and negotiation skills with the gravitas, presence and ability to build strong relationships.
- The ability to have difficult conversations when required.
