The Catch Up Academy is expanding its team across Gosport and is looking for Qualified Teachers (QTS) and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to deliver personalised 1:1 education packages for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
We have a number of rewarding opportunities available across PO12 and PO13, with hours ranging from 4 hours per week to 15+ hours per week, making these roles suitable for professionals looking to supplement existing work or build a larger timetable.
- Current Opportunities
- π PO12 β Home-Based Tuition - Reception / Year 1
- 6 hours per week
- September 2026 start
- Supporting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Focus on communication, emotional regulation and play-based learning.
- π PO12 β School-Based SEN Provision - Year 10 Student
- 15+ hours per week
- Immediate start
Supporting a bright student with ASD, PDA, dyslexia and anxiety.
Teaching English, Maths and Science while supporting GCSE preparation.
- π PO12 β Library-Based Tuition - Key Stage 2 Student
- 4β6 hours per week
- Immediate start
Supporting a pupil with SEMH, anxiety and school avoidance.
English, Maths and Science tuition.
- π PO13 β Reintegration Programme - Year 5 Student
- 1 x Qualified Teacher (QTS)
- 1 x Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
- Immediate start
Initially 1 hour per day, gradually increasing to 15+ hours per week as engagement develops.
Home/community-based initially before transitioning into school.

Each programme is individually planned to meet the student's educational, emotional and social needs.
We Are Looking For Professionals Who
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (teacher roles).
- Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
- Build positive, trusting relationships.
- Are calm, patient and adaptable.
- Can deliver creative, personalised learning.
- Work confidently as part of a multi-agency team.
- Have a genuine passion for helping young people re-engage with education.
Experience of working with ASD, SEMH, EBSA, trauma-informed practice, communication needs or emotional regulation would be highly desirable.
