About The Cat Care Co
At The Cat Care Co, we are passionate about providing the highest standard of in-home pet care. We specialise in cat sitting and offer visits ranging from 15 to 60 minutes, where we feed, clean up, administer medication, play with, and check on pets — keeping them happy and stress-free while their owners are away.
We are proud to be the only dedicated cat-sitting service of our kind in the area, and we hold ourselves to very high standards. Our clients trust us to care for their beloved pets, and we expect the same level of care and professionalism from every member of our team.
About the Role
You will cover all Sunday visits in the OL1 - OL9 postcode areas, as well as bank holidays, the lead sitter\'s sickness or holiday leave (4 weeks per year), and Christmas/New Year on a rota.
This is a flexible hours contract — you have a morning window (5:30am–10:30am) and evening window (3:30pm–8:30pm) to complete visits. This does not mean you work for the entire window — just that all visits must be completed during this time.
As an employee, you are expected to be available for work whenever you are scheduled unless you are on authorised leave or sick.
Our business is growing, so workload is expected to increase over time, though you will not be asked to complete more than 6 visits each morning and 6 each evening. Workload is based on client bookings and cannot be guaranteed. There may regularly be less than the maximum visit numbers to complete.

Requirements

- Confident administering oral and transdermal medication to cats
- Full, clean UK driving licence + own car with business insurance
- Willing to use own mobile phone (to access our reporting system, send visit updates, and take/attach photos for clients)
- Excellent written English and customer service skills
- Excellent photography skills and eye for detail
- Comfortable caring for cats and small animals (e.g. reptiles, rodents)
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- Willing to work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays, and Christmas/New Year on a rota
- Role subject to DBS check, references, and right-to-work checks
What We Offer
