The Castle School is seeking an enthusiastic French Teacher to join our dedicated, passionate department. In this role, you will support and challenge all students to achieve their full academic potential through exceptional classroom practice and research-based teaching strategies. You will be joining a well-established department, where taking a language to GCSE is part of our curriculum offer for all students. In addition to French, our second language is German, and it would be advantageous if the successful candidate could teach some KS3 German. You will be responsible for teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You'll be planning engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum and meet a diverse range of student needs. Beyond the classroom you will act as a positive role model, assuming responsibility for a tutor group and contributing to our vibrant extra-curricular and educational visit programs. As a collaborative member of the CSET community, you will work closely with colleagues across the trust to develop curriculum excellence and share best practices, all while upholding the highest standards of student safety and welfare.
