About the role
You will be responsible for the professional administration and seamless delivery of all internal and external assessments, ensuring the school remains fully compliant with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements at all times. This includes registering students for qualifications, managing the security and safe handling of all examination materials, and coordinating the packaging and dispatch of exam scripts. Beyond logistics, you will recruit and train a team of external invigilators and work closely with the site team to ensure all venues are accessible and fit for purpose. You will also serve as a key communicator, providing students with timetables and statements of entry and occasionally supporting assemblies to ensure they are confident with exam regulations. On occasion, you may also be asked to assist with other appropriate administrative tasks relevant to your role and capabilities.
About you
You possess strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and have experience in managing databases and complex data input. You have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with meticulous attention to detail while meeting strict deadlines accurately and at speed. You are a personable communicator who can interact confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and remain calm and measured when dealing with high-pressure situations. You are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and will take a proactive approach to keeping up to date in examination regulations. You hold a good general standard of education. While experience in an educational environment is desirable, it is not essential.
