Provide support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
Responsibilities:- Assist with pupils' emotional and physical care when required
- Help promote inclusion so all pupils feel involved and supported
- Support literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum activities
- Prepare classroom resources and learning materials
- Encourage the use of ICT to enhance learning
- Assist with behaviour support and maintaining a calm learning environment
- Contribute to basic observations and records on pupil progress
- Support the preparation of the classroom and learning spaces
- Assist with school events, activities and celebrations
