Full-time Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Cash Shop Ltd. has been providing its customers with retail financial services since 2004. Initially established by the founder of the UK’s original cheque cashing company, Cash Shop is now owned and operated by individuals with combined experience of over 50 years in the industry.

Job Function

The primary function of the CSR is to provide customers with a high level of satisfaction through the excellent provision of all Cash Shop services whilst determining their individual needs.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Provide a high level of Customer Service to in-store customers and over the telephone/online enquiries.
  2. Completing transactions against all of our core products quickly & efficiently, whilst following necessary company policies & procedures.
  3. The testing and evaluating of items of consumer electronics and precious metals.
  4. Create relationships with customers to ensure that existing custom is retained, and new custom gained.
  5. Complete stock control and organisational tasks.
  6. Open and close the store adhering to company policy & procedure.
  7. Reconcile your till, without variance, upon completion of your shift.

Skills:

  1. Fluent English speaker ( additional language could be an advantage ).
  2. A very good understanding of basic mathematics & mental arithmetic.
  3. Excellent sales ability and communication skills.
  4. Educated to GCSE level standard or equivalent.
  5. Non-essential, but previous pawnbroking, customer service and cash handling experience would be advantageous.
